Atalanta’s attacking firepower will be weakened when they face AC Milan on Sunday 26 February, as there is confirmation that striker Duvan Zapata‘s will be absent from the upcoming fixture.
In fact, a report from the Bergamo-based club revealed that the Colombian centre-forward suffered a first-degree injury to his right thigh during the last training session.
This unfortunate setback for Atalanta will see the 31-year-old star, former attacker at Udinese and Napoli sidelined for around a month, ruling him out of the Serie A clash against the Rossoneri team of Stefano Pioli at San Siro. This news will be a boost for AC Milan’s hopes of securing a vital victory in the race for a top-four finish.
