After the narrow 1-0 victory against AC Monza on Saturday night away from home, Stefano Pioli has given his AC Milan squad two days off, meaning there is no training scheduled for today.
The Rossoneri coach will be at Coverciano today for the Panchina d'oro awards ceremony, as reported by the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print edition.
The team will resume training tomorrow, five days ahead of their Sunday evening match against Atalanta. The break will provide some much-needed rest for the players, who have been in a decent form of late, and allow Pioli to prepare his tactics for what promises to be a tough game against one of Milan's most difficult opponents.
