Speaking at BoboTv as usual, the former Rossoneri player and Italian international Antonio Cassano shared his thoughts on AC Milan's current form and the challenges that the team faces in Europe. Here are his words:
"Milan needs to play well, show quality and then have those players who can give something extra. If they keep playing like this, I will continue to say that I don't like it. Even if they make it to the Champions League this way, I won't say that I enjoyed watching Milan play. I'm watching Theo closely. Messias is doing what he can. Giroud is struggling physically. I'm waiting for Leao. After the Salernitana game, I've been waiting for him for two months. Contract or no contract, show me!"
Cassano added:
"The first leg against Tottenham didn't go well, we'll have to see how they do in the second leg. The reality is that it's tough to play in Europe. If they show me, I'll give them a ten. Haaland scores wherever he plays in England or Europe, he's decisive. In my opinion, Milan needs to change their tactical setup. I only liked the three-man defense under Zaccheroni, but that's just me. AC Milan put on a show playing with four, or rather two, man-to-man. I like a proactive style of play. Now that you've gained confidence, great. But you have to do more."
