AC Milan's Brazilian right-winger, Junior Messias, who was the author of the only goal scored in the victory against Monza last weekend, has spoken to the microphones of SportItalia on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Fondazione Milan. Here are his words:
"The goal vs Monza? We all know the situation we were in, but now we now come from three important victories and we have not conceded a goal in them. The win against Monza was important, but we still have a lot of work to do."
In the new formation used by Pioli, did your role change?
"I do a bit of everything. Even when I play as a winger, I helped the team by dropping back to defend. For me, it doesn't change much."
About Ibrahimovic, Messias said:
"Ibra is always important, his presence is always a pleasure. When he's on the pitch, it's normal that he gives you an extra hand."
He added:
"Our goal at the beginning of the season was to win the championship but given that Napoli are having an extraordinary season, we must congratulate them. Our goal will be to get to the Champions League."
