Speaking to 'Radio Anch'io lo Sport' on Radio Rai 1, former Rossonero Roberto Donadoni said the following about AC Milan's Champions League race:

"There are no favourites. Those behind will battle it out to find the right place. Everyone has the same chance."

Donadoni continued:

"Milan have overcome the difficult period. The performance, more than the result, was there and that is the most important thing. This gives hope for the future."

With 24 Serie A matchdays gone, AC Milan now occupy third place in the standings, level on 47 points with Inter in second. However, Napoli are on an open road to the Scudetto, sitting atop the table with 65 points. As for AS Roma, they lie fourth in the standings with 44 points from 23 appearances.
