Since the arrival of Elliott, the AC Milan club has started a recovery path that, according to Calcio e Finanza, will lead them to close the 2022/23 budget with a decreased loss - more than halved compared to 2021/22 - at 25 million euros. Moreover, the club will also be able to generate cash, after reversing the trend with the work of recent years.
Therefore, further reduction of losses for Milan, after the 66.5 million euro loss recorded in the 2021/22 season (the one of the return to the Champions League) and after the 96.4 million euro loss in the 2019/20 season. Reduction also driven by revenue growth in 2022/23 - but without the boost given by player sales, since AC Milan has not recorded significant capital gains - between commercial revenues and a better path in the Champions League, which has not yet concluded.
The stadium remains the most urgent piece to be settled to ensure that the rest of the work carried out in other areas of the club is valued. Hence the urgency of the Rossoneri management - given the difficulties encountered with the "Cathedral" project at San Siro - to proceed in the direction that can combine the need to have a home to increase future revenues, with the shortest possible time.
