AC Milan‘s Italian right-back and captain, Davide Calabria, was a guest on the ‘Stasera c’è Cattelan’ show. The player talked about different topics. Here are his statements:
“The number 2 shirt? It’s the classic number for a right-back, so I went for it.”
On the possibility of a derby in the Champions League:
“The derby is always the derby. But we always seem to face Italian teams, as I told the coach, so I would like to play against Real Madrid or Manchester City.”
Who is the craziest teammate in the locker room?
“Kessie used to be the ‘crazy’ one, but now we’re all pretty intelligent and calm (laughs). As for Ibra, he has his good and bad days, but when he’s feeling good physically, he’s very relaxed.”
On his future after football, Calabria said:
“I don’t see myself staying in the world of football after my playing career is over. I have a passion for wine. I was born in the province of Brescia, and my grandfather used to make wine at home. It’s a passion that I enjoy. Barella and Perin are friends who share the same interests, so maybe we’ll have a drink together if we win with the national team.”
On his love for Dragon Ball Z:
“I have everything at home, I have a lot of merchandise. I also have a tattoo of Goku on the speedy cloud, in colour.”
The worst tattoo of a teammate?
“I can’t remember exactly what Simon Kjaer has on his butt, I think it’s Johnny Bravo. I’ll check tomorrow (laughs).”
On his fight for animal rights, Calabria said:
“In the world of football, we try to help and spread positive messages when we can, and I’m more than happy to do so. I’ve done some work with dog shelters in the Franciacorta area. I got my dog from there.”
