The France national team head coach, Didier Deschamps, spoke to the microphones of the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport about AC Milan's star striker Olivier Giroud, who has been called up again after his World Cup experience. Here are his words:
"Olivier is no longer so young, but at Milan, for example, there is Ibrahimovic who is even older and was called up by Sweden at the age of 41. For me, Giroud can also be a starter obviously without having the guarantee. He's not young, but this means that he has a lot of experience to draw on. Giroud can be called up as long as he keeps a high-level performance."
