AC Milan suffered another defeat in Serie A this season. The Rossoneri lost 3-1 against Udinese, away from home. The team is clearly lacking in many areas of the pitch and the struggling signs mean that in the summer, Paolo Maldini, Frederic Massara and the scouting department must find the right profiles to reinforce the team.
According to what has been reported by Pianeta Milan, 5 profiles could suit the Rossoneri's technical project and improve the attacking department available right now to Stefano Pioli. First, there is Daichi Kamada. A Japanese attacking midfielder who turns 27 in August 5. He can also paly as a second striker or even a central midfielder if necessary. His deal expires in June 2023, therefore he is an important opportunity in the free agency market. He has 13 goals and 5 assists this season with his club, Eintracht Frankfurt.
Another name on the list is none other than Real Madrid's star Marco Asensio. He can play as a playmaker, right-winger and left-winger. He has plenty of experience, obviously and especially in the Champions League. The 27-year-old's deal expires in June 2023 and he can be available on a free. Currently with Los Blancos, though, he earns a salary of 5.24 milion euros net per season.
Marcus Thuram, son of Lilian Thuram, is a French 25-year-old centre-forward playing for Borussia Mönchengladbach. His contract also expires in June 2023 and has 15 goals and 4 assists in 26 appearances for the German outfit.
Finally, another name who can help the Rossoneri team improve is Liverpool's beloved centre-forward Roberto Firmino. The Brazilian striker whose deal also expires at the end of the season, has 10 goals and 5 assists registered to his name this season. His salary, however, is very high for AC Milan as he earns close to 11 million euros per season. However, if he would be willing to take a significant salary cut, perhaps Paolo Maldini would make an attempt at signing him.
