According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, the biggest disappointment for AC Milan is undoubtedly Charles De Ketelaere. The Belgian attacking midfielder was acquired from Club Brugge for a hefty sum of 32 million euros plus 3 million euros in bonuses after an endless negotiation with the Belgian side in the summer transfer window.
He was meant to be the club's major summer investment and the player to help take them to the next level of quality. However, so far his performance has been quite disappointing. With zero goals and only one assist, he was brought in to be the team's starting attacking midfielder but now finds himself behind Brahim Diaz in Pioli's hierarchy.
bruh it took Leao 3 years to be relevant…. he’s only 22. Real life aint FIFA
Some playes need little time to adapt, other players need more. It always depends on the player and the environment, the game style and many other factors. Gazzetta seems to think otherwise, though.
