Aster Vranckx has not been enjoying much playing time, as he hinted that he he'd like to play more in a recent interview (read here). He is on loan from VfL Wolfsburg at AC Milan currently. Regarding the buy-option and his future at Milanello, Calciomercato.com wrote that the signals are certainly not encouraging, especially considering the last two months spent on the bench without even being able to play a single minute. But while on one hand, the directors, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, firmly believe in the qualities of their acquisition, on the other hand, Coach Pioli is making very different choices.
Adding fuel to the fire, Vranckx's statements have now come to light, dissatisfied yes but convinced of his decision to transfer to Milan and ready, in case there is an opportunity to do so, to redeem the current season and become an important element in Pioli's tactics.
The end of the season is now approaching and those 12 million euros negotiated with Wolfsburg loom over the future of the Belgian. A future still to be decided, a redemption that, next June, will be tried to be re-modulated, to be renegotiated with figures different from those initially expected.
