In view of Sunday's match at Napoli's stadium, Stefano Pioli will return to using the 4-2-3-1 formation module for his AC Milan team thus abandoning the three-man defense of recent weeks.
In front of Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria will regain a starting spot after almost two months. Together with the Rossoneri captain, there will be Theo Hernandez on the left, while in the center of the defence there will be space for Fikayo Tomori and Simon Kjaer, who won the race for the starting spot against Malick Thiaw.
In the midfield department, Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer are confirmed to partner each other. Then, Olivier Giroud should be the starting striker in Pioli's lineup. On the attacking midfield, there will be Rafael Leao on the left, Krunic as the playmaker while Brahim Diaz will play on the right.
