AC Milan's Charles De Ketelaere, so far, is not having a good season in his first experience with the Rossoneri. He arrived in the summer for a hefty fee, close to 35 million euros.
During the negotiations with Club Brugge this summer, Leeds United, the Premier League outfit, also showed a lot of interest, although not as prestigious as Milan. The "English dream" has been attracting many footballers lately.
Leeds lost the bid to AC Milan, but they have not given up hope on signing the Belgian playmaker.
According to the online outlet TeamTalk, the English club directors are still strongly interested in the young talent, testing the waters and trying to understand the feasibility. Needless to say, Milan wants to keep him, and for De Ketelaere to leave in the summer, there must be a total rupture with the Rossoneri.
We’re absolute idiots if we let one of the top european talents leave because our team doesn’t click and we play him out of position.
