The passion of AC Milan's loyal supporters continues to impress as they once again sell out San Siro for their coming match against Napoli tonight. It's become a familiar sight for the Rossoneri faithful to pack out their home stadium, but this time, tickets didn't even reach the general public, with sales reserved exclusively for season ticket holders and Cuore Rossonero members.
Reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning also revealed the anticipated earnings from tonight's showdown, which are expected to reach around 8 million euros. Although it falls short of breaking the record, it's still an impressive figure that ranks as the second-highest earnings for an Italian team ever, only behind AC Milan's round of 16 clash against Tottenham earlier this year on February 14th, which generated around 9 million euros.
