Stefano Pioli, the AC Milan coach, spoke to Mediaset Infinity after the Napoli-Milan match. He said these words:
"We remember very well the Rio Ave game. Everyone counted us out, but I coach a team with a big heart. We fought and suffered: qualification was wanted and deserved. Congratulations to these boys."
Where can you go?
"It's clear that tonight it would seem like a derby. There will be two more beautiful, stimulating and very difficult matches. We have done a lot and we absolutely don't want to stop."
How did you approach the game?
"Having the 1-0 from the first leg helped us in one sense and held us back in another. They chose to stay a bit lower with Osimhen, and we gave them the ball. Many of them had never played a game like this before, so it's understandable that we played less possession in the second half. But everyone made sacrifices, we were a team. We are happy for our fans who have always supported us even when things weren't going well. We are proud of them."
Rade Krunic didn't make any mistakes... Pioli said:
"He has some insights that few have. He is very important to us."
