AC Milan club directors already have an eye on the summer's transfer market window that is slowly approaching. The Rossoneri managers want to make some important moves in order to create balance but also provide more strength to the team. However, not much will be clear until the season ends and Champions League qualification for next season is secured.
In a recent and quite strange report shared by Quotidiano Libero, we read that Charles De Ketelaere could be sold to Serie A outfit Atalanta as part of a potential deal that sees the Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund join AC Milan. According to the same report, Atalanta are willing to negotiate such a possible exchange.
We must question such a report because, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara invested a significant amount of money on the Belgian playmaker and they reiterated many times this season that they have trust in him and should continue to wait for signs of improvement from the former Club Brugge talent. After all, Charles De Ketelaere was signed on a long-term deal, running until June 2027.
