AC Milan club managers, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, have always had eyes on different players in order to reinforce the squad. Last year, there were links, for example, with a certain Eric Bailly of Manchester United.
According to a report published by The Athletic, Eric Bailly was available on the outgoing transfer list of the English Premier League club. However, interest in him was minimal. Bailly was wanted by AC Milan and Monaco as well as Marseille, where he ended up going on loan.
This season with Marseille, the central defender who is 28 years old only managed to make 19 appearances across all competitions, playing a total of just a little over 760 minutes.
