AC Milan are set to play a huge game in the Champions League: it is the semi-final of the elite European competition against their arch rivals and city foes: Inter Milan.
Highlighting the importance of the game, La Gazzetta dello Sport explained that Milan will be able to break the 10 million euros milestone from the matchday income and it will be a new record in the history of Italian clubs.
For context, AC Milan hold the current record from the mass attendance in the game against Tottenham at the San Siro in the round of 16 in the Champions League earlier this season. From that match, the Rossoneri club earned a fee just over 9 million euros.
