Stefano Pioli spoke to Milan TV after the draw against Cremonese 1-1 at the San Siro. Here are his words as he expressed himself about the resutlt:
"The result is disappointing, it's not what we wanted or what we were looking for. It's a shame because we're throwing away situations that require us to be more attentive. After a very good first half, in the second half we stretched ourselves too thin and became nervous, and we didn't play as a team anymore."
On what can be improved
"The team can do better in terms of finishing. We've entered their area so many times but we haven't taken the lead, even in other matches. After that, it becomes more complicated and we struggle more."
On how it could have been resolved, Pioli offered this explanation:
"I believe the team played a very good first half but if they can't unlock these matches, they become complicated. In the second half, we lost our clarity and precision, thinking individually and no longer as a team. This didn't favour us. In the first half, we should have looked for depth more. It's not true that Cremonese waited for us low. There was a lack of precision in situations near the penalty area, but not the positions to trouble such a closed and compact defense."
