AC Milan's current season has been disappointing for most fans, despite already reaching the Champions League semi-final. The team has dropped too many points already and will have to work very hard in order to finish in a top 4 position.
According to a report shared by La Gazzetta dello Sport, one of the frustrating players to watch on the field is definitely Charles De Ketelaere. The Rossoneri invested heavily to sign him in the previous summer from Club Brugge. The emergence of Brahim Diaz has overshadowed the Belgian's talent, and he has gradually lost value. Charles was supposed to be the jewel that would enhance the team, but now the club is left wondering what to do to protect their investment.
The club has no intention of searching for a foreign buyer to at least partially recoup that 32 million euros spent last summer (plus bonuses). Instead, AC Milan is convinced that with more weeks of work, next season could finally be the season of the Belgian's breakthrough. The Rossoneri will not actively seek alternative solutions, unless they present themselves naturally. The report mentions a possible loan to Monza as a solution.
