AC Milan's head coach, Stefano Pioli, granted an interview minutes before kick-off of the Euroderby with Inter. Here are his words:
"Leao's absence? The test didn't work out. He still has a bit of discomfort and couldn't play: we'll have other characteristics and we'll try, as always, to play as a team in the best possible conditions."
Pioli added:
"I have been very close to my players and have reminded them of some tactical situations. There are so many emotions inside of us at this moment, but as often said, it takes a lot of energy, a lot of heart, and a lot of lucidity that can make the difference. This match is worth a lot, but let's not forget that everything will be decided in 180 minutes: we want to take advantages for the return leg. New tattoo? Yes, there's space for it (laughs)."
