La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper shared the following ratings regarding the Rossoneri players performances. The best on the pitch for Stefano Pioli's side was Mike Maignan with a 6.5 rating.
Sandro Tonali followed with a rating of 6. With him, there was also Malick Thiaw with the same grade. As for Olivier Giroud and Divock Origi, they could not help their team in attack as they both received a 5.5.
Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori, Rade Krunic, Bahim Diaz, Ismael Bennacer, Alexis Saelemaekers, and Junior Messias were all granted ratings of 5.
The full-backs disappointed last night. Davide Calabria, the AC Milan club captain, and Theo Hernandez were shown 4.5 for their low efforts. The French left-back was chosen by the Italian newspaper as the worst player on the pitch.
