Speaking to Sport Mediaset microphones, Sandro Tonali commented on the coming derby in the Champions League. Here are his statements:
On why they believe:
"Because we are close, despite the first leg. We have 90 minutes to play as Milan, to give everything on the field and make the Rossoneri fans happy. We must never stop believing."
On the first leg:
"We faced and will face a strong team. We made mistakes that we paid for. That's how it went, but we put a point on it and in the second half we came out. We have to start again from our mistakes, play football and play as Milan."
On tomorrow's game:
"In the Champions League it's another game, we saw it this year with Tottenham and Napoli. We will bring our whole season onto the field and give our best."
On the initial approach of the match, Tonali said:
"We have to do better than in the first leg. We have to remain focused throughout the game and score: matches change and are long."
On Rafael Leao:
"He was missed, we've seen it over the years. He's a player who can change a game. He must play with us and we must play with him."
On the night's sleep before the game:
"It depends, you have to be lucky and not think about it before falling asleep. I think it's normal for all Milan and Inter players, it's not just any game."
On experiencing the game as a fan:
"I have this luck that I can put this aside, but the adrenaline changes everyone. We all become fans."
On the game plan, Tonali said
"The game will be different. If we score our goal, the game becomes infinite. We must not concede anything."
On the fans:
"Yesterday we saw that they showed us that they have always been with us in difficult moments. Many came, they charged us up and gave us an additional push."
On Rafael Leao possibly starting in the derby:
"I can't say no, but health comes first. It's up to him too, but he won't back down."
On how much he believes:
"A lot, in football nothing is impossible. We have to recover two goals, it's feasible and we need to give our all on the field."
