AC Milan are looking for reinforcements to the attack and they could try to sign one of their former players in an attempt to find an affordable solution for Stefano Pioli's tactical setup.
We are talking about Stephan El Shaarawy, who could be a candidate for the left-wing position as an alternative to Rafael Leao, writes the Tuttosport newspaper.
With the likely departures of Ante Rebic and Divock Origi in the summer, AC Milan require a new winger to add to the squad. Reportedly, They have set their sights on El Shaarawy who could return to the Rossoneri on a free transfer. He is Italian with Egyptian roots (Italian passport) and therefore he would be useful regarding the UEFA list requirements. He is also tactically versatile.
As per the newspaper, however, El Shaarawy is happy in Rome. After the end of the league and the Europa League final, he will sit down with his club's management to discuss a possible contract renewal.
"The club knows my intentions", he said a few days ago. However, the Giallorossi have not yet approached him or his representatives, so some clubs are closely monitoring his situation. Apart from AC Milan, Inter and several foreign teams are also reportedly interested in the forward.
