As already widely reported in the last hours, AC Milan are closing in on the signing of Daichi Kamada. The Japanese player who is 26 years old will be able to join the Rossoneri on a free transfer as his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt expires this summer. The deal is almost done now. He will receive 3 million euros net per season in a 5-year-contract, writes Antonio Vitiello from Milannews.it.
That is not the only reinforcement which the club has been looking for, however. In fact, according to what was reported by the Italian journalist mentioned above, two forwards are in the watchlist: one is Lois Openda from Lens while the other is Villareal's 21-year-old Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson.
The latter has a contract with the La Liga side until June 2026. He has scored 11 league goals plus four assists after 24 appearances in the competition. As per the source, AC Milan have recently held a meeting regarding the young talent. He is also followed by some Premier League clubs.
