AC Milan will not be keeping Spanish playmaker Brahim Diaz on a permanent transfer. Instead, the former Manchester City talent has returned to Real Madrid.
The official statement regarding the 23-year-old comes from the Real Madrid club, and it reads the following:
"Real Madrid C.F. announces that on Tuesday, June 13th, at 12:00 pm at the Ciudad Real Madrid, the presentation ceremony of Brahim Díaz will take place. He is returning as a player to our club until June 30th, 2027, after his three-season loan at AC Milan.
During this period, he has become a key player for the historic Italian team. With Brahim, AC Milan became champions of Serie A in 2022 and reached the semifinals of the Champions League this season.
Brahim Díaz has been a player for Real Madrid since January 2019 and has already won 1 league title and 1 Spanish Supercup with our club before being loaned to AC Milan in September 2020.
Following the presentation ceremony, Brahim Díaz will address the media."
