AC Milan is among clubs who are interested in signing AZ Alkmaar's star: Tijjani Reijnders. The Dutch player had an important season for his team this season and was even called up recently to the national team of the Netherlands.
Regarding a possible deal, it seems that head coach Stefano Pioli has already given his approval for the possible signing of the midfielder. However, AZ Alkmaar are asking to receive a fee set at 18 million euros plus bonuses in order to let him leave. In fact, they have even refused lower offers from the Premier League and Sporting Lisbon set at around 14 million euros plus bonuses. So far, Milan has not made any offer and is evaluating how to proceed, as per Gianlcua Di Marzio.
The AC Milan management moves further away from Ruben Loftus-Cheek...
The possibility of signing Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea is less likely. AC Milan's former directors, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, had shown interest in the English midfielder in recent weeks. However, the pursuit of the Chelsea player has cooled down in the past few days, and it seems difficult at the moment for the transfer to happen.
