The transfer market window is already heating up with Newcastle moving to close a major business deal with AC Milan, one that will see Sandro Tonali's card sold for a big fee, perhaps even reaching 90 million euros in total (read the latest update here).
Once Tonali officially goes to the Premier League club Newcastle, AC Milan could make a move for his potential replacemen who could be Sassuolo's man Davide Frattesi, who is valued at around 40 million euros. It is a position that would require important reinforcements for Milan, according to latest media reports.
Now, as per BILD (as relayed by PianetaMilan), AC Milan could invest also in another area this summer: it is the defence. The Rossoneri could get into a race with Juventus for Fabio Chiarodia, an Italian German central defender who is 18 years old. He plies his trade for Werder Bremen. He has a release clause of 2 million euros and is also liked by Borussia Monchengladbach. This could be a long-term investment for AC Milan.
