Giuseppe Riso, agent of Sandro Tonali and Davide Frattesi, was interviewed briefly by Sky Sport upon his return to Italy after being in Romania for his client's medical examinations. Here are his words:
"Is it done for Tonali at Newcastle? Not yet, a few more days are still missing, a little something more. The boy is calm, he knows that when such important offers come from such important clubs, it is difficult to refuse both for the club and for the player... They are finalising things between the clubs. Once that's done, he will undergo the medical tests in the coming days. Tears? No, absolutely not. The boy is focused on the national team. It's a matter of bonuses and technical details, bureaucratic things. A six-year contract, I confirm. I'm satisfied because it's a great deal, and Sandro will also help Milan and Brescia, which he loves so much, in this operation. It's a perfect project for him; they want him at all costs, and he will be the reference point."
Riso concludes:
"Frattesi? We have already started the appointments; we'll see in the coming days which clubs can afford him, and then I will meet Davide, and he will decide. Is Inter the team he has chosen? I cannot say that yet. Milan? I believe they will get involved; they seem very focused on him. Figures? When it comes to figures with Carnevali, it's not easy. We are working on it."
