AC Milan managers want to rebuild the midfield department. They are looking to add quality and also provide quantity for head coach Stefano Pioli who is already thinking of the new challenging season that is ahead.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has signed. He will add height and strength in the middle of the pitch. But, more is needed.
According to what is reported by Tuttosport, the Rossoneri are keeping their interests alive in Tijjani Reijnders of AZ Alkmaar. The Dutch club is asking for 18 million euros. However, the Rossoneri want to negotiate a lower transfer fee.
Besides Reijnders, the club is also targeting Yunus Musah from Valencia. The Italians have reportedly informed the Spanish club of their intention to enter into negotiations for the American midfielder. AC Milan are trying to leverage the economic difficulties of Valencia in order to make them accept a lower fee than what they are asking for which is an amount between 25 and 30 million euros.
A low-cost alternative to the American is Nicolas Dominguez from Bologna. He is valued at around 10 million euros. His contract expires in one year.
