AC Milan are looking to sign a new midfielder. After the arrival of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, there is still work to bring on more quality to the midfield department.
According to what is reported by Alfredo Pedullà, the Rossoneri made an in-depth inquiry for 21-year-old Dutch player Ryan Gravenberch who has a contract vali until June 2027 with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. Gravenberch had been pursued by both Liverpool and Newcastle, but Bayern has not yielded so far. In fact, Newcastle (which had also pursued Mac Allister and Ruben Neves) has turned its attention to Tonali instead eventually.
Gravenberch can play in both a two-man and three-man midfield, and he is valued at over 35 million. There has been an inquiry from Milan, and a significant sacrifice would be made for him, although Bayern has not changed its position so far. For this reason, Yunus Musah, who is set to leave Valencia and is valued at over 25 million, remains in the running, with increasing chances. Reijnders from AZ Alkmaar, though, is also in the mix, but there is strong competition from the Premier League, with West Ham leading the way.
The former Ajax player made 33 appearances this season for his club. He is not a starter, and has played a total of 937 minutes. He managed to get on the scoring sheet once while providing one assist as well.
