Tijjani Reijnders is one of AC Milan's main targets in the midfield for this summer transfer window. The Rossoneri coach, Stefano Pioli, has a strong interest in the Dutch player. Reijnders scored 7 goals and provided 12 assists in the last season with AZ Alkmaar.
The Dutch club and the Rossoneri are in negotiations for a possible transfer. In fact, the talks have been underway for a few days now already. AZ Alkmaar have initially asked to receive a fee of around 25 million euros while Milan offered a lower proposal valued at around 18 to 20 million euros.
According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, however, the parties are close to an agreement. Yesterday, CEO Giorgio Furlani personally met with AZ Alkmaar's executives. The gap between the two clubs is narrowing, and there is more optimism now for the arrival of the player.
