AC Milan announces the departure of Daniel Maldini to Empoli Football Club on loan, with the latter having an option to make the transfer permanent and AC Milan having a buyback clause.
Daniel, son of Paolo Maldini, spent last season on a dry loan basis at Spezia. He played an overall of 20 matches. He scored 3 goals (two of which were against the Rossoneri and the Nerazzurri).
