The technical director of AZ Alkmaar, Max Huiberts, downplays the enthusiasm of the AC Milan fans who are looking forward to seeing Tijjani Reijnders donning the Rossoneri shirt soon.
The player is one of the main targets for Milan's midfield, but according to the Dutch executive, there is still a long way to go. He discussed it with 'Noordhollands Dagblad', revealing some details about the negotiation.

"At the moment, we are not negotiating. They made an offer that we rejected. We have informed Milan that we have agreed with Tijjani that we prefer him to play with us for another year and that we prefer to keep him at those figures. If there is a new offer, we can still negotiate, but that is not the case as we speak."
