According to what is reported by Calciomercato.com, the French club Nice are showing no signs of making an offer for Fodé Ballo-Touré. The left-back from Senegal has not been included in the squad list of the Rossoneri for the United states pre-season tour. Now, Serie A club Bologna will try to take advantage of the situation.
At this point, the future of Ballo-Touré remains to be determined, but Milan has identified a possible track for the role of Theo Hernandez's deputy.
As per the report, Riccardo Calafiori, a 21-year-old Italian left-back of FC Basel and former player of AS Roma is being considered by AC Milan to take the spot of Ballo-Touré once he leaves. The player would also be useful for the UEFA squad list issues and also for his versatility on the entire left flank. The Italy-based website mentioned above explained that Calafiori represents an idea for the AC Milan management. However, Fodé Ballo-Touré must leave first before making any moves on that front.
