The documents are almost ready, and the fee will likely be just under 30 million, including bonuses, as per what is reported by the Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà. AC Milan have worked carefully and with determination in order to lower the initial demands of the Spanish club.
Chukwueze had promised himself to Milan, and rumours of certain other clubs' involvement yesterday were unfounded. As for Matteo Gabbia's transfer to Villarreal, it will be separate deal and he will not be included as a counterpart, unlike some rumours. The Italian centre-back will leave to Villarreal on loan.
