AC Milan are seeking a new left-back who can replace Fodé Ballo-Touré to act as the backup for Theo Hernandez. The FC Basel left-back, Riccardo Calafiori, is reportedly the main target for AC Milan. However, nothing official yet has happened.
In fact, AC Milan cannot proceed with negotiations for the former AS Roma player before letting Fodé Ballo-Touré leave. The Senegalese player is very close to joining Werder Bremen. But, the final details are still being sorted between the clubs, as reported by Corriere dello Sport.
The 21-year-old Italian left-back, Calafiori, has meanwhile already played 4 times in official matches between the league and the conference league with FC Basel since the start of the new season.
