AC Milan can confirm that Charles De Ketelaere has joined Atalanta B.C. on loan until 30 June 2024. The Nerazzurri will retain an option to make the deal permanent.
The Belgian attacking midfielder, formerly of Club Brugge, has contributed to last season's goals with only one assist to his name.
De Ketelaere has joined the Rossoneri on an expensive deal which cost the club's coffers around 35 million euros (including bonuses). He was the highlight of the previous summer. But now, it seems that the Rossoneri want to cut their losses by sending the player on loan with an option to but plus bonuses as well as a percentage on any resale in the future.
