AC Milan are evaluating some options in midfield as they do not want to be unprepared in case Krunic leaves.
As reported by PianetaMilan.it, the most likely candidate to take the Bosnian place should be Nicolas Dominguez from Bologna. However, he is not the only name on Moncada's agenda. In fact, Federico Redondo from Argentinos Juniors, son of Fernando Redondo, a former player of Real Madrid and Milan, is also an intriguing prospect.
A third option being linked with a move to Milan is the Dutch midfielder of Feyenoord: Mats Wieffer. He is 23 years old, right-footed and has a long-term contract that is running until the summer of 2027. In the last season, with the Rotterdam team, he made 37 appearances in Eredivisie, Europa League, and the national cup, contributing 3 goals and 7 assists. AC Milan has already inquired about him in June and might revisit the possibility in the final days of August; he is currently being valued at around 10 million euros.
Wieffer would be my favourite to join our midfield, I hope this scenario turns to reality!
We certainly need a good player at the base of our midfield .
