The AC Milan Primavera head coach, Ignazio Abate, has spoken to Gazzetta dello Sport's website. Among the topics discussed, he did shed light on the talent that is Andrea Bartesaghi. The player in question is reportedly being considered for the Theo Hernandez backup role (more details here).
Abate had these words to say:
"Bartesaghi as Theo's backup? He has all the qualities. He has the physique, the engine, he's elegant, he doesn't even know his full potential."
Abate continued:
"To me, he reminds me of Bastoni, but his role isn't yet well-defined. He could become a central defender in a back four, he can play as a full-back, and even as a third defender. He needs to develop his character as well."
