AC Milan managed to reinforce the squad of head coach Stefano Pioli with nine new signings this summer. However, one of the positions that were not reinforced is the left-back. In that area, there is Theo Hernandez and Fodé Ballo-Touré. The Senegalese defender does not convince and should leave the club. The question is, therefore, who should replace the former AS Monaco player?
AC Milan have a new idea | The solution could come straight from Ignazio Abate's Primavera squad...
According to what is reported by Tuttomercatoweb, Milan are reportedly leaning towards the idea of betting on Primavera starlet Davide bartesaghi for the role of backup to Theo Hernandez. The youngster who is only 17 years old may be permanently moved into the first team.
This internal solution would not cost AC Milan money and the management would be able to focus all of their energies on the centre-forward.
