Mehdi Taremi will not join AC Milan (all details here). The Rossoneri management, however, is still trying to find a new centre-forward to provide for coach Stefano Pioli.
According to the latest news reported by Peppe Di Stefano on Sky Sport Italia studios, the new name for Milan is Vangelis Pavlidis, a Greek center forward from AZ Alkmaar, former teammate of Tijjani Reijnders.
The Dutch club is currently asking for 15 million euros for the 1998-born player, but AC Milan considers the request too high at the moment. There might be a new contacts tomorrow. Pavlidis is 24 years old with a contract valid until 2025. He has already scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists this season in 5 games played.
Gianluca Di Marzio adds that Willian José from Betis has also been proposed. However, AC Milan would be interested only in a loan without an obligation to buy. Willian José is a 31-year-old Brazilian striker. His contract with Betis runs until 2026 and has already scored 2 goals this season after 3 La Liga games.
If Origi can’t send it away, don’t toss about the striker, and finally add a strong defensive midfielder to end this transfer period.
