AC Milan managers were quite busy in the transfer market window. The club signed 10 new players into Stefano Pioli's team. However, their number one target for the striker's position, Mehdi Taremi, slipped away in the final steps. Ultimately, the Rossoneri settled on signing the Serbian centre-forward Luka Jovic from Fiorentina.
The former Real Madrid talent, though, may not be the answer that the AC Milan club is seeking. In fact, there are rumours that an attempt to sign another striker in the near future might be made
The player who is appreciated by the management is the Canada international Jonathan David. Il Giornale this morning wrote that AC Milan are considering the idea of trying to bring Jonathan David to the San Siro. He is a skilled forward currently playing for Lille in France, a club that Milan has negotiated with in the past to sign Leao and Maignan. His contract expires in 2025, and the Rossoneri could use this to secure his signature at a lower price in the next transfer window.
