AC Milan's Malick Thiaw and Pierre Kalulu are likely to start as centre-backs in the derby against Inter. The Frenchman is ahead of Simon Kjaer in the race to replace Fikayo Tomori who was sent off after a second yellow card against AS Roma last week.
If Malick Thiaw and Pierre Kalulu were to play together, it would only be the third time they have partnered in a four-man defense. They have played together in a three-man backline with either Tomori or Kjaer, but only twice on their own.
