This morning, Il Corriere dello Sport, less than a week before the resumption of the championship, drew up a list of uncertainties for each top club in the Italian league.
For AC Milan, the question is as follows:
"Giroud, a certainty. The alternatives a bit less so."
Olivier Giroud, with four goals in the first three league matches, is a sure bet for the Rossoneri's attack. He will soon be turning 37 years old and he will need to be well managed. The Frenchman must have a reliable alternative who can rotate with him.

The Rossoneri have brought in Noah Okafor and Luka Jovic as forwards, but it's especially the latter who will bear the responsibilities of being Olivier Giroud's deputy.
The problem is that Jovic needs revitalisation: he scored only 6 goals in Serie A with Fiorentina last year, where he had arrived with high expectations. Will he rise to the occasion? Only he can answer that on the field.
