AC Milan have won against Hellas Verona at the San Siro stadium thanks to the only goal that was scored by Rafael Leao. The game was far from easy, but with the absence of Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria, and with the new 3-4-3 formation, the only thing that mattered was the three points.
Besides the two starting full-backs who are out due to injury, Mike Maignan and Pierre Kalulu were also absent. Then, Rade Krunic had to leave the pitch in the second half due to a muscle problem (more medical exams to take place in the next hours). A player who has been absent since the start of the season, however, is Ismael Bennacer.
