Last summer, AC Milan club management were linked with a number of talents. The Rossoneri did sign some important and interesting profiles to strengthen the squad. However, they did not reinforce the left-back position, despite some attempts to test Juan Miranda's availability.
According to Matteo Moretto from Relevo in Spain, the AC Milan managers tried to sign Juan Miranda on at least two occasions last summer. First at the end of July and also in the last few days of August when they proposed to Real Betis an exchange involving Alexis Saelemaekers (who later went to Serie A club Bologna).
For their part currently, Real Betis would like the chance to keep their Spanish left-back who is 23 years old as they are plotting a contract renewal to avoid losing him on a free transfer (his deal runs out in June 2024).
AC Milan are keeping an eye on him for a possible move in June.
Last season, Juan Miranda has scored 3 goals and made 5 assists in 31 appearances. This season, the AC Milan target has already made 3 appearances for Real Betis with 165 minutes played in total.
