Simon Kjaer, who is no longer a starter in Stefano Pioli's team, has still reached an important milestone. The Dane, who is always a professional, reached 100 appearances in red and black thanks to his recent outing against Hellas Verona at the San Siro.
The AC Milan club management decided to reward him today at Milanello. CEO Giorgio Furlani presented him with a medal. The 34-year-old centre-back said these words upon this occasion:
"I thank everyone. The other day, I had a conversation with my dad. When I was 19, I came to Italy, to Palermo, and my dream has always been to play for Milan. Now I'm here. Every day is special, the journey I make from Milan to Milanello, I am very proud to be here. It's a dream. Milan will always be my dream."
