Thanks to his appearance in the match against Hellas Verona, AC Milan's centre-back, Simon Kjaer, reached the milestone of 100 appearances with the Rossoneri colours since his arrival in January 2020.
The player revealed that playing for the red and black faithful was always a dream of his, ever since he arrived to Italy when he was 19 years of age: "The other day, I had a conversation with my dad. When I was 19, I came to Italy, to Palermo, and my dream has always been to play for Milan. Now I'm here. Every day is special, the journey I make from Milan to Milanello, I am very proud to be here. It's a dream. Milan will always be my dream."
According to what is reported by Calciomercato.com, the 34-year-old Danish defender wants to remain at Milanello. In fact, he aims to retire from football with the Rossoneri. His deal runs until June 2024, but the intention is to renew it and retire at the San Siro. The final decision will be made on the field.
