According to a report from SportMediaset today, Jonathan David, the 23-year-old Canada international, is the main target for AC Milan in view of the summer transfer window of 2024-2025.
As per the source, the Rossoneri actually made a "concrete attempt" to sign the player in the last days of the transfer window last summer. However, the deal failed because Lille wanted to receive an amount of money set at 60 million euros. The Rossoneri were not able to match that.
The canadian striker who was born in USA, New York, is still on AC Milan's wishlist, though. In fact, the Serie A giants may try once again for him in the next summer, taking advantage of the fact that his deal will run out in June 2025.
Therefore, in the coming months, it could cost around 30 to 35 million euros to bring him to Milan. An opportunity that the club is certainly not willing to miss.
So far this season, Jonathan David played 11 games with Lille. He scored 4 goals and made 1 assist.
